Empire Realty Associates Partner, Floria Hakimi recently helped to organize an outstanding fundraising event on October 3rd.
About 2 years ago Floria and a remarkable team, helped to form Moms Against Poverty (MAP), a 501 (C) (3), non-profit, charitable organization in the United States. MAP works to improve the quality of life for children in extreme poverty through education and improved health services.

With permission, MAP will be able to extent its work to the children in Iran. MAP’s advocates have been pursuing the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) at the US Treasury to allow MAP’s work to extend to the most deprived and needy Iranian children. We will continue engaging this Federal agency and will keep you updated. The more successful MAP is in its work with Afghan, Cambodia, and American children, the stronger its case will be with OFAC. That is why we are writing to ask for your involvement and support.
